Montague Contempoary curated by Laura Day Webb

January 25 - February 25

Montague Contemporary is excited to announce the continuation of "We Contain Multitudes" now on view from January 26th through the end of February at High Line Nine in Chelsea. Curated by Laura Day Webb, this group exhibition features work by seven international women artists of color: Jessica Atieno, Prudence Chimutuwah, Angèle Etoundi Essamba, Muna Malik, Zina Saro-Wiwa, Florence Wangui, and Beatrice Wanjiku.

Showcasing a broad array of mediums from photography and textiles, to oil on canvas, and mixed media, "We Contain Multitudes" examines multifaceted perceptions and experiences of identity, belonging, and womanhood, and their relationship to cultural heritage and the contemporary world.
