The world-renowned Young People’s Chorus of New York City presents “AloneTogether”, a new, mixed-media art installation. AloneTogether is a transcendent musical journey into the subconscious mind of today’s youth during a time of global turmoil and transformation. Expressed through newly commissioned pieces created by 15 of the world’s leading composers and emerging songwriters, AloneTogether takes an innovative, experimental approach toward understanding and expressing the hearts and minds of children through the course of the pandemic. For the first time, YPC enthusiasts will see choristers perform these works in new mediums, including video, art, and film, in addition to live performances. The installation, conceptualized and curated by Francisco J. Núñez, artistic director and founder of YPC, will debut Thursday, November 18 and run through Sunday, December 19.
